
Dr. DeLeon has been working in the oral healthcare field for over five years so far, and she really enjoys being able to help patients conquer their fear of the dentist’s office and empower them to achieve a healthier, happier smile that lasts. Dr. DeLeon always loved going to the dentist, even when she was a young child, because she found the overall environment to be very calm and peaceful. After shadowing a dentist while in college and being encouraged to pursue the field as her career path, she made her choice and hasn’t looked back! Being told about the need for minority/female dentists as a means to help bridge the gap between patient populations was a big source of inspiration for her; she also comes from a family with a long line of educators, who enthusiastically supported and encouraged her decision.
Dr. DeLeon’s college career started at Southwestern University. After the completion of her undergraduate degree, she achieved her doctorate at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry; she was also a post-baccalaureate fellow there. Today, she still enjoys taking continuing education courses to further improve her skills and expand her knowledge. She is certified in both Invisalign and Level 1 Minimal Sedation.

When she isn’t busy at the dental office, Dr. DeLeon stays very active by running, doing Pilates, and enjoying nature on long hiking trails. She’s also a big tennis fan and has been playing since was eight years old! She even played at the collegiate level before.
