Dr. Tran says that dentistry brings a unique joy because it allows her to care for a person’s overall health through their oral health, knowing that every treatment can directly improve their well-being. There is immense fulfillment in restoring a patient’s smile, confidence, and comfort, transforming their daily life in meaningful ways. At the same time, dentistry is an art, one that demands finesse, precision, and an individualized approach to each case. No two patients are alike, and this constant variety keeps the work engaging, creative, and endlessly rewarding.
Dr. Tran’s decision to pursue dentistry began during her second year of college, when she started working as a dental assistant. Being in the operatory every day, she saw firsthand the genuine, human connection that happens between a dentist and each patient. What stood out the most was witnessing the immediate impact dental care could have: seeing a patient’s relief when their pain was finally gone or watching their entire spirit brighten when their smile was transformed. These moments of joy, the small but powerful changes in a person’s life, made dentistry feel less like a profession and more like a purpose worth dedicating herself to.
Dr. Tran started her college career at UC San Diego, and she was later accepted into the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Today, she is a Strupp and Brumm Cosmetic Dentistry Graduate, a member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association, and has been serving patients for over a decade.
Dr. Tran is married with two wonderful girls and a spirited dog who keeps everyone entertained. As a family, they love to travel together, trying new foods, learning about different cultures, and taking in beautiful sights wherever they go. Whether they’re hiking a new trail, playing a friendly game of tennis, or simply relaxing with a lazy movie night on the weekends, they cherish the time they spend together.
Dr. Tran also enjoys staying active through yoga, Pilates, and the occasional kickboxing class. Lately, her happiest hobby has become being as involved as possible in her girls’ school activities, cheering them on and sharing in the little moments that make their world so special.
